Medical and Health

Department of Health and Human Services: SOAR
SOAR Online is designed to educate health care providers, social workers, public health professionals, and behavioral health professionals on how to identify, treat, and respond appropriately to individuals who are at risk or who have been trafficked.

Health, Education, Advocacy, Linkage (HEAL) 
The HEAL Education and Training Committee focuses on educating health care providers about trafficking and making relevant, evidenced-based training resources more accessible.

Physicians Against the Trafficking of Humans (PATH)
In 2014, the American Women's Medical Association founded PATH to help educate physicians, residents, and medical students about issues surrounding human trafficking. Training and resources available.

Law Enforcement

Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers
The Department of Homeland Security offer resources and support for law enforcement officers on how to recognize human trafficking encountered during routine duties, how to protect victims, and how to initiate human trafficking investigations. This training is law enforcement sensitive and available on  a secure intranet; available on request.

Homeland Security: Blue Campaign Resources for Law Enforcement
DHS also provides web-based training courses for law enforcement officials and first responders on recognizing human trafficking and developing appropriate response protocols.

Internet Crimes Against Children Training Task Force Program Training
Training is available through this program, which is a national network ​of 61 coordinated task forces representing over 4,500 federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.

Children & Family Support

ARC Reflections Training Program
Because foster parents play a critical role in supporting children in foster care, who often have experienced trauma, the Casey Foundation developed ARC Reflections, a nine-session program that child welfare agencies can use to train foster parents to better care for children who have had traumatic experiences.

National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC) Virtual Training Center
A wide range of FREE online training opportunities for child abuse professionals. NCACvtc includes live and archived Webinars and Recorded Trainings.

Netsmartz, from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Netsmartz provides age-appropriate resources to help teach children how to be safer on- and offline. The program is designed for children ages 5-17, parents and guardians, educators, and law enforcement. With resources such as videos, games, activity cards, and presentations, NetSmartz entertains while it educates.

Travel & Transportation

American Hotel & Lodging Association
The AHLA, in partnership with Marriott Int'l, ECPAT-USA, and Polaris offer a 30-minute online training program addressing the issue of human trafficking and discussing its intersection to the hospitality industry.

Businesses Ending Slavery & Trafficking (BEST)
BEST specializes in providing human trafficking training for employers. BEST provides training online and in-person. BEST also develops customized training for employers and industries.

Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT)
Truckers Against Trafficking is raising up a mobile army of transportation professionals to assist law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking, in order to aid in the recovery of victims and the arrest of their perpetrators. Drivers can get TAT certified, as well as find other training opportunities from TAT.

Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center
OVC TTAC offers free training and technical assistance to organizations working on human trafficking victim service providers and allied professionals.
